Pannam Imaging Earns ISO 9001 : 2000 Registration

Pannam Imaging, a Cleveland, Ohio manufacturer of custom membrane switches for the commercial, medical and industrial markets announced that it has earned ISO 9001:2000 certification from Perry Johnson Registrars.

ISO 9000 is a series of quality management systems standards created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a federation of 132 national standards bodies based in Geneva, Switzerland. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is the member body representing the United States.

The newly created ISO 9001:2000, the most comprehensive Standard in the ISO series, covers design, manufacturing and, most importantly, customer focus. ISO 9001:2000 consists of five major clauses containing 23 elements:

1) Quality Management Systems (2 elements)

2) Management Responsibility (6 elements)

3) Resource Management (4 elements)

4) Product Realization (6 elements)

5) Measurement, Analysis and Improvement (5 elements)
